(For ages 55 and older)

  • We seek to connect The Highlands Church senior attendees to each other and to the Lord. 

    Our key passage that guides us is Matthew 22:36-39

    “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

    We spur each other on to love the Lord

    • Through Bible teaching

    • Through prayer

    • Through service

    We grow in our witness to love others

    • To fellowship with each other

    • To pray for each other

    • To serve each other

    • To grow in our faith. 

    • To serve the Highlands Church

  • There are two main gathering times for the Encore Community. 

    One is the Monthly Gathering.  It is held on the second Monday evening of each month from 6:30-8:00 PM at the church. 

    *Please note: we will be meeting at the Delano Senior Center (234 2nd St N, Delano) for the months of October and November.

    The second is a coffee time held at church the 3rd Friday of each month from 2-4 PM.
