Harvest & Building Update: Here's Where We Are
Highlands Family,
I want to give you an update on the Harvest Campaign and our building project, because there is a lot to celebrate!
Harvest Campaign
Together this spring, we pledged $6.2 million toward Harvest. That number is incredible, but what it represents is even better: hundreds of people praying, sacrificing, and saying yes to making room for more people to meet Jesus. If you made a pledge, thank you! I am humbled by your generosity and your faith.
Two quick encouragements:
First, if you made a pledge and haven't started giving toward it yet, now is a great time to begin. You can learn more about giving towards your pledge online HERE. You can also drop a check in the offering or mail to the church, just make sure to put Harvest Campaign in the memo line. Every gift moves us forward.

Building Project Update
Here's what's happening right now:
The parking lot expansion is underway. If you've been to church lately, you've seen it. Work on our expanded parking lot is moving quickly, and we hope to have it completed by the first Sunday in November. Thank you for your patience with the construction in the meantime.
I have formed an Expansion Advisory Team. This is a group of Highlands attenders who will walk alongside me and our leadership through this season. They'll meet monthly to review drawings and key decisions, help us communicate well with you along the way, and think through how we partner well with the City of Delano. I'm grateful for their wisdom and their willingness to serve.

Design and development is in progress. We're working closely with our architect and builder on the design of the building expansion. We're excited about where things are heading, and we'll have a lot more to share with you soon.
Please keep praying for wisdom for our leadership, for unity in our church, and for the people who will one day walk through our doors because we made room for them.
