Pathfinders is a ministry for all students to have fun, grow relationally with one another and most importantly, grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to make sure that every student who walks through our doors feels welcomed, accepted, and wanted.

High school is one of the most formative times in life; a time where students begin the process of becoming adults. The vision for our ministry is to disciple students in encountering Jesus in a real, life-changing way over the course of this season of life.

New Ministry!
56ers - Sunday Mornings
We are excited to announce that we have a new students ministry - The 56ers! This ministry will take place during our 9 and 10:30am services on Sunday mornings.
The 56ers will start the mornings in the main service in the back few rows of the auditorium and will be dismissed after the first set of worship songs to head to our new trailer!

RHYTHMS
We are inviting every student who is involved in student ministries here at The Highlands to take part in these 4 rhythms that we are putting into practice for Pathfinders and Summit. These rhythms give a clearer picture of what it looks like to actively participate and be a part of student ministries. These rhythms will allow students to get the most out of their time here at The Highlands as well as create rhythms in their life that will help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
DEVO DAILY
Each week we will be inviting students to participate in a weekly devotional on the Bible App - cultivating a rhythm of spending time in God's Word each day. Within the Bible App we can walk through devotionals together. The topic of each devotional will relate to the series we are going through on Wednesday nights. Check back in here each week and join each weeks study!

CONNECT WEEKLY
Community is one of the most important aspects of the Christian faith and consistency is key when it comes to community. Small Groups are the focal point of our ministries because it is the most personable community we can offer. We hope students don't just join us from time to time but rather commit to making Wednesday night programming a rhythm of life they participate in each week!
SERVE & SHARE MONTHLY
Cultivating a heart posture that puts others before ourselves is something Jesus talked about a lot. We are going to provide multiple ways in which students can serve here at church both on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. Welcome team, cafe, worship, watching kids and more! Please connect with Brody or Abby on getting involved.
We are also encouraging students to share their faith in some way, shape or form each month this year. One of the 'rhythms' on Wednesday is giving students an opportunity to share stories of God is working in and through them.
GO YEARLY
For each ministry we have events that our ministry year revolve around. For our junior high students, this would be the Pathfinders Winter Retreat. For our senior high students these events would be our Winter Retreat and our annual summer missions trip Driven to Serve. These events are by and large the most fun, memorable and spiritually impactful events that our students can participate in here at The Highlands. We hope that everyone involved in student ministries would make every effort to attend these once a year events. They won't regret it!
